About me

Me at Qualcomm Stadium...

I am a husband and a father first…. I’ve been with the same wonderful woman exclusively for 18 years. We have two amazing, talented kids. My oldest is a proud member of the US Air Force and heading off to Europe soon. My youngest is aiming for a scholarship, academic or athletic, at a major Division 1 school.

I have been a professional photographer every year of my adult life except for a couple of recent years when I was teaching high school students these same skills.

I am back in photography, planning on using the same skills that kept me employed in the magazine, newspaper and commercial world…. my eye for the extraordinary, my ability to deal with adversity, my ability to work with people and most importantly my ability to bring home “THE SHOT” no matter the situation.

In my career, I’ve worked under the the most demanding conditions all over the world. I’ve seen it all… from all night riding shotgun with a police canine unit to photographing facial reconstructiive surgery… from the Olympics to high school football in monsoon-like rains… from world championships to celebrities… from police drug busts to covering major forest fires… From NFL games to court rooms…

Not much can happen at your wedding or other personal event that I haven’t already seen. Good luck finding that level of photographic experience with anyone else.
